2008 is busier than ever… It’s 8 weeks to everest and there still seems to be so many issues to settle, so many trainings not completed, gear not bought, medicine to pack, food to sort, sponsorships to source etc…
And the stress must be getting to the entire team such that all of us who drive met with some sort of an accident these recent few weeks. Nobody got hurt though..thank god.. but yah accidents… Damn suay…Hope this means that something better is coming our way….
I winge about not having enough time when it gets busy like this. But I know that when I have all the time in the world, I actually feel rather empty and wish for something to rush around for. Ironic urban kid mentality.
Stretched as I am, I know that someday I will look back and be amazed that I actually bother to blog at 2.30am when I have to get to work at 8.30am the same day. I will look back and marvel at how I find the energy to work and play and train. And sometimes its times when you’re stretched like this that you realise how much more you are made of….
Although the lack of sleep must be the reason why I am looking much older than my sister who happens to be 5 years OLDER than me!!!! Sigh you can’t have everything go your way so i’ll slog for now while hoping that I can hibernate in Chengdu….
Just got reminded of how cold I would be there. It was freezing at this time last last year. goodness. Not quite prepared for the cold. Looking forward the the tofu restaurant KB promised me…heh
